Thought I should start a page that has the links to several
different modifications and custom built items for the Shogun
Warrior line.

Modular Fists
One of my earlier reproduction and custom projects was to
make sleeves for shoguns that were missing them and to
make fist copies that could be standard or shooting version.
I have standard and Grendizer style fists for either the
Mattel or Popy looking versions (This page only shows the

A fun and rewarding custom fist has been upgrading the

Mattel version GaiKing with custom wing
The Uni-Five reproduction of the Popy GaiKing came with
a wing, but the poor ole cheaper mattel version did not.
So, I decided to make my own custom wing to fit the mattel

Shooting Fists
While working on my Popy Grendizer restoration, I decided
to copy the "in shoulder" shooting mechanism. Why have

I bought a popy version Grendizer for a decent price (a
good, complete one would have cost most likely around
two or three times more), but it needed some fixing.
Someone tore out the shooting fist insert, pulled the chest
piece off, and some other small fixes.

Custom Built Spazer (Winter / Spring 2012)
How can one have a popy Grendizer and not dream about a Spazer ship for it to dock into?
I don't see buying a loose Spazer is in the cards anytime soon or ever as those even
command thousands of $$$.
I am in the process of getting parts to build my own vacuum former machine to form 2' x 2'
plastic sheets into a top and bottom shell for the spazer body. Most likely the engines and
top piece will be vacuum formed too.
The side pods will be resin cast from custom sculpted parts.
Time line for the first vacuum parts, I am shooting for April / May 2012 as I have a busy work
schedule in January and February. Am hoping for sooner, but hard to say.

Mattel Chest Piece (Winter 2012)
I had thought about making a chest piece for the mattel version Grendizer when I was
doing the Popy version restoration, but the mattel chest piece was of equal or slightly
wider than the popy one.
