Custom made Jumbo GaiKing Wing
I first drew up the Jumbo GaiKing in autocad and
then drew up a wing for him.

So nice to work with paper copies for testing and
sizing.
4-30-11  Having decided to get into the big Shogun Warrior toys a few months ago
and getting my first GaiKing, well after a little while, I decided it was time that he had
his flying wing.  I got out my old childhood 6" GA-51 GaiKing, and used that for most
of the sizing and look of this wing.
Next, came how to mount the wing.

The prototype attachment was made with 1/4"
lexan and milliput.
I didn't take many photos of the wing, but was made
from some 1/8" plastic cut and sanded to shape and size.

The one piece mold was pour with Smooth-on's Oomoo
30 silicone mold
I had a few days of frustration with the jet piece.  The
silicone didn't cure against the original piece with
Rustroleum paint.  I ended up making a rough copy of the
jet piece from the original mold.

The rough resin copy was sanded down to the correct
shape and I cut back about an 1/8 to 3/16" of the original
silicone mold, poured in some new silicone and sat the
new piece back in.  This one turned out fantastic.

I used Smooth-On's Sorta Clear 40 silicone mold for my 2
piece molds.
Okay, here are the first pours into the Jet and Wing mold.

The prototype attachment ready for a silicone mold.
The wing darkened during the plastic cure, so will work
that out and learn what pigment combination will give a
better red.
The very first wing !!!

Couple things to improve upon, but looks pretty darn
good for the first pull.
